Round Rock is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Round Rock is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is a great store. We came in to look at supplies and the staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. Becky took the time to explain so much to us about bee-keeping and how we can best get started. Weβll be coming back for the bee-keeping classes.

I had to buy a couple nucs this year I sold my house and left my colonies there just let me start our by saying the Dayton store no longer exist they are still selling nucs out of it but you pick them up in splendora one of the nucs went queenless after a week they were trying to supercede her and not thinking to much about it she was gone and no brood after 3 weeks called them in round Rock and was told that if I wanted to get a warranty on my nuc I had to drive to round Rock in my opinion that's pretty sorry way to do business I also paid extra for marked queens and only one of them were marked was told the workers clean it off well then why sell them to me as a special nuc any way I will never do business with them again had to requeen the nuc myself out of pocket anyway just be aware found a really good place in Conroe to buy a queen

We bought a nuc and paid the extra $25 for a queen that was marked.. we picked it up and went home immediately we opened it up and could not find a marked Queen.. thinking maybe they were just piling up and we couldn't see her because of the ride home we waited a week.. still no marked Queen so we took pictures of every frame and took it into them.. they couldn't find one either and their story was sometimes the other bees will eat the paint off the back of the queen.. so they're telling me that they ate everything off the back of the queen in an hour from the time I picked it up which it should have been marked to the time I got it home? Not buying it! I will say that the hive does seem healthy and it seems like there's probably a queen in there but it is not marked and we can't see it and neither can they so you would think the very least they would offer us the extra $25 back that we paid for a marked Queen

Today I went to a class at the Bee Supply in Round Rock on honey extraction. Oh my gosh it was so much fun and very informative. Bees are so precious, and for years I've thought of becoming a beekeeper. The store is full of tools to help you get started if you are a newbie, and tools for those who have been beekeeping for years. Over all a day well spent .
